We're pleased to offer the following services at Animal Clinic Of Marine Park:
Our appointment book is computerized, which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come in immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.
We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty six days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be things such as accidental ingestion of rat poison, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately.
We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening. If you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment, our veterinarians will work to "squeeze" you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.
Because a large number of veterinarians practice at Animal Clinic Of Marine Park, we can care for many types of pets:
Animal Clinic Of Marine Park offers discounted services to senior citizens and local area rescue groups. Pre-approval is required to qualify for the rescue group discounts, please call us for more information.
We provide fast and gentle treatment for your sick pet. Remember, regular check-ups can detect disease in the early stages, improving your pet's ability to fight back. It is always safer and more cost effective to prevent than to cure.
Our staff always tries to exceed our clients' expectations, and would appreciate your opinions before any decisions are made. During your pet' wellness exam we will be happy to provide information about nutrition, pet behavior, and anything else that will help your furry friend thrive.
SURGICAL AND MEDICAL CARE
Regardless of the procedure or service your animal will be getting at our clinic, you can count on superior veterinary care.
- General examination and treatment of dogs and cats
- LOW COST spay / neuter
- Orthopedic surgery
- Soft tissue surgery
- Cosmetic surgery
Our surgical team will do their best to alleviate any stress associated with the procedure. For pets under 5 years of age, a physical exam before the operation is sufficient, for patients 5 years and older, a blood test would be needed to make sure that the surgery would go well. During the procedure, your pet will be closely monitored to maintain heart and respiratory rates, as well as other indicators on a good level, so the surgery could go effectively. During recovery, out staff will make sure your furry friend is comfortable and in great condition, thereby preparing him or her for discharge. You will be notified ahead of time when you could bring your pet home. And before we discharge them, we will offer you a set of after-surgery instructions, along with the necessary medications, simplifying the whole surgery experience both for your pet and you.
- LOW COST Immunization of dogs and cats
- Pet Dentistry
Just like humans, our animals need healthy teeth and gums to stay healthy overall. Our clinic uses its advanced imaging technology to spot any potential dental problems, and to resolve them effectively and pain-free.
- Certificates of health and consultations for travel
At the Animal Clinic of Marine Park we realize that travelling with your pet is rewarding, but can be a bit difficult. Therefore, we encourage planning ahead of time, so your animal could go with you, healthy and safe. Over the years we have assisted our clients with domestic and international travel, and our doctors can help your pet receive the required travel documentation as well. Since these differ according to the specific airline, we contact the airline of your choice to ensure that you and your pet will have a trouble-free flight. We will, however, need to know if your furry one has health documents, what carrier you are planning to use, the size of your pet, etc. We welcome you to discuss any travel questions with our expert staff, and wish you an excellent trip.
